Contemplating his place in the universe I attempted to capture the upward vision of this man. He was able to hold this pose longer than I thought he could and we took several breaks. Contemplation is a worthwhile activity. I have to discipline myself to schedule time for reflection and contemplation. I recently read a book called 'Earthing', which sets forth the idea that there is the natural electrical charge from the earth that is important for us to keep regular contact with. And so there are times when I go to my back yard, take off my shoes and socks, sit in a chair barefooted on the grass and contemplate life's mysteries. Whether I'm recharged emotionally or electronically, the contemplation and meditation eases tension within me. Some people find that same sense of release through yoga.
